What is pet cremation?
Pet cremation is a respectful process where your pet’s remains are cared for and reduced to ashes through cremation. The ashes are then returned to you or handled according to your wishes.
How long does the cremation process take?
Unless a custom urn is ordered, Haisley Pet Loss guarantees a 72-hour turnaround time to return your pet to your care.
Can I choose an urn or memorial item?
Yes. A variety of urns, keepsakes, and memorial items are typically available to help you honor your pet in a way that feels meaningful.
Is pet cremation respectful and dignified?
Yes. Reputable pet cremation services treat every pet with care, compassion, and respect throughout the entire process.
What should I do when my pet passes away?
If your pet passes at home, contact a pet cremation provider for guidance on next steps. If your pet passes at a veterinary clinic, they can often help coordinate arrangements.
Who can I speak with if I have questions or need help deciding?
A caring staff member is available to answer your questions 24/7, explain options, and help you move forward at your own pace.
What is the difference between a private and communal cremation?
A private cremation means your pet is cremated individually, and their cremated remains are carefully returned to you.
A communal cremation involves multiple pets being cremated together. In this case, the remains are not returned, but are respectfully scattered at sea.
How long will it take for my pet to be returned to me?
Our standard turnaround time is approximately 72 hours. However, depending on our current schedule, we may be able to return your pet’s cremated remains in as little as 24 hours.
Can I be present during the cremation process?
Yes, we offer a Witness Cremation service. This allows you to spend a final moment with your pet and be present as they are respectfully placed into the cremation chamber. Please contact us for more information and pricing.
